thanksgiving tablescapes

I'm not a very outdoorsy gal, so tablescapes are just about the only scapes I'm interested in. I prefer to stay inside where there's climate control and comfortable seating. But tablescapes, those are my jam. Or around this time of year, they're my cranberry sauce. #pun

Holidays really give you a chance to lend your hand to design. You can take on any style-persona for those big holiday meals - minimalist and clean, warm and bountiful, glitzy and polished, or abounding in color.

So as we start to ramp up to the first of the big meals, coming in just two days (what?!), I thought I'd share some of my favorite scape-spirations for this year's family gathering.

Hope this inspires you too to practice your hand at crafting your tablescape this year! There is possibly no more intentional time for design than when friends and family gather near to celebrate the community we have and the blessings we've been given.

quick fixes

#1

Move things around! Sometimes your space is just stale and needs variation. Figure out another way for the puzzle pieces to fit together.

#2

Bring in some greenery or fresh flowers. Guaranteed to bring a little more life to any space.

#3

Open up your blinds! Natural light restores a space like none other. Short supply of windows? Increase your own lighting with bright and effective lamps.
