I have long believed that a headboard pulls together a bedroom in a way that nothing else can. It gives the room polish and just enough finesse to prove that it has actually been styled not just thrown together. Even in college when I was living off of rented furniture, I made it a point to have a headboard on my bed. That final touch made all the difference to me!
Headboards are a definitive statement piece when it comes to the style of a bedroom, but that doesn't mean they have to break the bank. If you know where to look you can find some seriously luxurious headboard dupes for seriously lovable prices. I've pulled together a handful that I've had my eye on - all for less than $175! (Most are even considerably lower than that!)

You might have picked up that I lean towards natural tone headboards...primarily linen and grey. As you know by now, I love sticking to my basic neutrals - they are tried and true! But the real reason I selected only neutral headboards in order to give you ultimate flexibility with your linens. These headboards create a clean pallete, allowing you to go wild with your bedding colors and even to change it seasonally without having to worry about detracting from your (obviously gorgeous) headboard. *wink wink*
So which one are you going to snag?! Did I mention they all ship for free?
