Are y'all as obsessed with bar carts as I am? If you missed my feature on my friend Ann Marie's adorable DIY cart, do yourself a favor and go check it out here.
As I mentioned in my last post, her adorable bar cart hack really spurred me on to wanting my own! I have long said that my apartment is maxed out and buying any more furniture was just out of the question. But guys, this is a bar cart we're talking about. It's basically a rite of passage for a 20-something living in Dallas. So once I really turned a critical eye towards my apartment, I realized I already had the perfect spot, just begging to be filled.

Look at it - I could stare at it all day! What a bomb. shell.
Scroll on down to see how to design your one for yourself that is conducive to both your taste and your budget. (You're welcome!)

I started building this entire cart around these golden stunners. They were the first piece to the puzzle. These gold-faceted glasses were a birthday gift from World Market. And not only do they come in this beautiful highball glass, but also as stemless wine glasses, double old fashioneds, stemless champagne flutes (a personal fave), and other various accessories. These beauties look oh-so-luxurious but won't even put a scratch on your pretty pink piggy bank.
Pro-tip, scour your home decor magazines for a World Market coupon or wait for one of their frequent drink ware sales! I snagged mine during a BOGO sale for my set of 6 for under $20. #chaching Psssstttt....I hear they're having a sale right now!

The rest of the top shelf was an easy accessory collection of my prettiest liquor bottles (um, neon skull anyone?), paper straws in a dollar store mason jar, and a memorable bottle opener, like this one, or this one.

I am so pumped to tell you about these blue glasses. Guys, you will never guess where I got them! Had some time to think? Ok....Walmart. Eeeeeeeek - Walmart! It was on a 7am mission into the mega store for some last minute school supplies when I found these blue beauts. Of course they are by none other than the Pioneer Woman herself, Rhee Drummond. I knew she had started producing a line of kitchenware that was sold at Walmart, but didn't have any direct experience with it. And you know because it's from Walmart, it'll be a steal. You can snag these glasses for yourself at cool $13 for a set of four.

And that gold topped pineapple....because who doesn't love a pineapple? $15 at a local resale store.

And then there's the classic embossed glass tumblers - so clean, so crisp. I picked these up on a recent trip to Home Goods for $3 a piece, one of those thrilling Home Goods finds amidst the chaos. But don't worry, Rhee carries a similar version in her line at Walmart with a similarly complimentary price point. You can find them here.

To kick a bit of fun and festivity in I included these adorable disposable cups from Target's Cheeky line. If you haven't heard of Cheeky, they are currently partnering with designlovefest to make your daily dining experience a little more peppy. Plus, every purchase you make with them goes towards feeding a hungry person here in the US through their partnership with Feeding America. And at a mere $4 for a pack of 24, it's a win-win for everyone.

Of course, there's also the cart itself. This is Ikea's new SUNNERSTA cart, brought in to replace the BYGEL cart, which is what Ann Marie used for her DIY. This sweet little epic will only cost you a mere $30 if you snag it now while it's still on it's new item promotional run.

So, since I am the daughter of an accountant, I can't leave you without a financial breakdown...everyone's favorite part!
