Storefronts always have the prettiest displays. But so often I find myself drawn not to the merchandise, but the display itself. So I wanted to take a day to share some of the prettiest I've seen.

Let's go window shopping, shall we?

On Location: Anthropologie

The first, the best, the favorite. Anthropologie is widely acclaimed for its window displays, but I personally swoon for the decor, arrangement, and presentation of merchandise within the store itself. This picture above is literally my all time favorite from this chic retailer.

On Location: The Shop at Laguna Beach

Not exactly a display, but an oh-so pretty place to perch while your friend or S.O. shops. Pleasantly tropical in theme and makes just enough of a statement while managing a small space.

On Location: Tuvalu Home

Any home goods store in its own right is usually a winner in my book but Tuvalu goes the extra mile with their displays. This shelf knocked me down and out, not to mention the impeccable styling on top of that.

On Location: Areo

Hanging terrariums are always a good idea. They catch the light so well, and they bring the outdoors in. This display at Areo had me positively floored.

On Location: Splendid

Succulents again! But this time with cutouts in whitewashed brick? Yes, please. Such a sweet, simple, and clean backdrop to let the clothes take the main stage.

On Location: Little Bohemian

I remember this store so vividly - I made my sister go in and pretend to look around just so I could take this picture (not an uncommon occurrence.) I'm all about the mid century mod vibes here with the rattan chair, sheepskin, and gorgeous greenery. Can I pick up this little scene and drop it into my living room?

On Location: Laguna Drug

A little different than my usual attraction, but I just couldn't pass up this tree. Forget the jewelry hanging on it's branches, I want to buy the tree and the base. I don't know what I'd use it for, but I'd make it work - I just have all the heart eyes for those perfectly imperfect knobs and twists.

On Location: Anthropologie

Of course I had to circle back to where I started. They never cease to amaze with their paper crafts, particularly these stunning cactus flowers. I love that here, the closer you look the more impressed you are. Major props to Anthro for their details - always on point.

What stores make you swoon with their cleverly crafted displays?

quick fixes

#1

Move things around! Sometimes your space is just stale and needs variation. Figure out another way for the puzzle pieces to fit together.

#2

Bring in some greenery or fresh flowers. Guaranteed to bring a little more life to any space.

#3

Open up your blinds! Natural light restores a space like none other. Short supply of windows? Increase your own lighting with bright and effective lamps.
