Aaaaah windows, it's good to see you again!

I'm coming to love these clean lines more and more. No fuss. No muss. Just windows. But man - you can really play with the facade of your house just with those windows. The way those three tinies are lined over the inset roofline on the left - so fun! What a unique way to create dimension and not keep it too simple.

This was one of the first houses I've featured that I was just itching to get inside and poke around. Yes, the exterior is lovely, and is the reason it's making the blog, but from what I could tell through those big beautiful windows, this house had a very unusually unique makeup. What really caught my eye was inside that far left window on the first floor, you can see a small chandelier. You would expect that room to be the kitchen, a dining room, or maybe a bedroom. But instead it was a closet. Quite an unusual room to have on the front of your house, with a large uncovered window. But by the looks of it, this was quite the closet - so I think this homeowner has probably made several bold choices inside their home. If only I could see them! (Ah to dream)

But I truly love the clean lines of the exterior - the windows, the galvanized roof, the capstones, all the way down to the perfectly square pavers. You just can't beat clean lines - they're tried and true!

If I may suggest just one tiny adjustment, it would be the capstones on the windows. I would either like to see them gone, or done in a more striking contrast color - like a dark grey to accompany the roof. But of course, I don't have a house, nor do I get an affective say into how other people construct their own! So for now I'll just add that to my list of somedays for that elusive future home.SaveSaveSave
