the frugal girl's guide to art

DIY's are great and all, but there may be nothing that can compare to canvas art. It carries a certain polish and air of sophistication that no home-made decor can imitate. But that sophistication often comes at an equally sophisticated price. And while I like to consider myself someone who has sophisticated taste, I live on a far-below-sophisticated salary.
So I've rounded up some potential beauties to grace your walls and spare your wallet.

Gold Leaf Floral // $99
Simple, gilded, and abstract at exactly the right price!

Rain Clouds // $42
A bit more colorful than the rest, but moderated by the subtleness of the abstract scene.

Mixed Metals // $72
It's self explanatory and it honestly might be my favorite.

Adore Gold // $63
I love the natural tones of this piece, like a closeup of a cross cut of agate. The radiating lines and alternating golds, grays, and whites would complement any space.

Modern Spin // $45
Definitely one of the more out there pieces, but I just found myself drawn to it again and again. Would be perfect for an around-the-corner space or nook, as a nice little tucked away surprise!

Cactus // $129
Absolutely love the modern, simplistic vibes of this pairing coupled with the simple gold frame. This is definitely one of the more aspirational pieces for me, as I would love for my design aesthetic to grow in this direction.
I hope this encourages you to look around for more ritzy-looking art that comes at thrifty price. Having upscale taste doesn't mean you need an upscale budget. No one will ever know that you princely wall hangings came at a pauper like price! (Unless you want to let them in on the secret, of course!)
